Our program is located in Bailey Hall along with four other Area Studies Centers each focusing upon on a different world region. The building was constructed in 1900 of local limestone and is on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1905, Bailey Hall was home to an important discovery--chemistry professors discovered the presence of helium in natural gas!
