Each semester, we post a list of approved courses that students can take and have counted toward the GIST major and minor. Here are some notes about the list:
- The courses are organized by department.
- Global Issues courses are in bold. They are listed twice--under the corresponding department and under the heading of Global Issues.
- An asterisk (*) indicates required admission into the specific program that provides the course. For example, to enroll in certain POLS classes, students must be participating in the undergraduate certificate in intelligence and national security studies. To participate, contact KU's Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence.
