People to People International Internship Application

Internship with People to People International in KC, MO

Unpaid. Earn academic credit at KU by enrolling in GIST 495: Global Internship.

KU’s Global & International Studies Program and People to People International (PTPI) have partnered to develop an internship. PTPI creates lasting cross-cultural connections between citizens around the world to help them explore global issues and enrich their communities. PTPI’s network of chapters and members spans across 160 countries. For more information about PTPI, see www.ptpi.org. Interns will communicate with chapters around the world, collect and track data on projects, and edit reports and stories. The intern will also be assisting in the 2018 Joyce C. Hall College Scholarship selection process, School and Classroom Program, as well as help organize the 2018 Global Youth Forum here in Kansas City. Requirement: be a KU undergraduate student in good standing, enrolled in no more than 15 credits. Preferences: junior/senior status, study abroad experience. The internship will occur in downtown Kansas City, MO for 15 hours per week during the fall, winter, and summer semesters. If you have questions about the internship, write to angelamurphy@ptpi.org.
