Costs and Funding - MetroKC Rate for Kansas City, Missouri Area Residents

Degree-seeking students in the Global and International Studies program who are residents of Cass, Clay, Jackson, or Platte County in Missouri qualify for the MetroKC Tuition Program and pay Kansas resident rates for courses at the Edwards Campus. Eligibility requires enrollment in an Edwards Campus degree program and proof of at least 1 year of residence in one of these counties. Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for the MetroKC rate.

The MetroKC application only needs to be submitted during the student’s first semester of qualifying coursework. However, you must notify Lisa Browning (lbrownin@ku.edu) every semester that you enroll to activate the grant for the current semester.
