Outreach

The Center for Global and International Studies works to promote understanding of an array of topics with global and international implications. A key component of the CGIS mission is to provide resources and learning opportunities to K-16 educators, policymakers, the media, and the business community about matters concerning our rapidly changing world.

CGIS works with the area studies centers at KU, International Programs, and a range of other organizations on campus, in the community, and at Ft. Leavenworth to offer a variety of outreach and public education opportunities that includes lectures, seminars, conference, brown bag events, K-12 workshops, and collaboration with government agencies.
