Jennifer Duhamel has many years of international experience. As an undergraduate student, she studied at the Université de Fribourg in Switzerland for a year. She conducted field research in Belize as part of her Master’s degree program in socio-cultural anthropology. Later, she moved to Bénin, West Africa for two years to implement a teacher-training and curriculum development program. Jennifer participated in short-term work in India with an organization that offers education and training programs to disadvantaged women and students with disabilities. In addition, she has participated in scientific expeditions to Malaysia and the Philippines.
She has spent most of her career blending anthropology and education. She has 15 years experience working in education in the US and abroad. Most recently, she worked at KU’s Center for Research on Learning and KU’s Center on Developmental Disabilities.
