Languages Taught at KU
Students have available to them a variety of languages taught at KU. Some are widely known and widely taught, and many less so. Departments in which foreign languages are taught include:
- African and African-American Studies
- Classics
- East Asian Languages and Cultures
- Farsi/Tajik
- French and Italian
- Germanic Languages and Literatures
- Hindi Language
- Jewish Studies (Hebrew)
- Linguistics

Less Commonly Taught Languages (LCTL)
